a few words of introduction ... and welcome to our place

Hornacko is a small region situated in south-east Moravia in the Czech republic on the border of Slovakia. When you arrive to this region you find yourself in another world. The life of local people is much more difficult, but people are satisfied. A small brook runs through the region, which starts near the top of highest hill of the White Carpathians - Javorina. The hill is even praised in many local songs, because of its vital role in the lives of the region's people. And from this beautiful corner of the region waft of musical notes of fiddles, violas, bass, dulcimer and clarinet of a dulcimer band brought together by its first violinist, Petr Galecka.
